Morris & Associates is a small family accountancy firm set up in the 1970’s by Anthony Morris, who still acts as a consultant to the firm. Today the firm is run by Paul Morris and George Repanelis, who have built up their client base for several years. The firm is small enough to guarantee personal attention – we will always be easily contactable by phone, text or email to answer any questions our clients may have. We have many years’ experience working for clients in the entertainment industry so can offer the right advice for this specialist area.
Paul Morris
Paul started with the firm in 1999, and on qualifying with the Association of Taxation Technicians became a Tax Manager. He has a lot of experience dealing with clients across the entertainment sector, including a large number of voice actors. As a tax specialist, he provides clients with varied solutions to minimise their tax bills and plan for the future. He has a particular interest in VAT and current tax issues.
He offers a personal, tailored service to all his clients and takes a thorough approach to every tax question.
Paul is passionate about film and also enjoys trips to the theatre.
George Repanelis
George joined the firm in 2002 after working in retail management and is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant. He has a varied client base and enjoys the challenges of advising on tax, to keep his clients tax bills low. Recently qualified, he keeps his knowledge up-to-date to offer practical and sensible advice. George enjoys helping his clients to look at their finances as a whole, identifying tax saving opportunities and ways to reorganise their finances where appropriate.
He has a strong interest in personal finance and the property market, which he draws on when advising clients. He is a keen theatre and opera goer and enjoys seeing his clients performing on stage.
Tony Morris
Tony qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1963. The firm of Lodge Brisley Morris was formed in 1970, which later became Morris & Associates. The firm was based in Covent Garden, specialising in the entertainment industry, although Tony did act for many commercial businesses.
Tony handed control of the firm to his son Paul Morris and George Repanelis a few years ago, but is still very active as a Consultant to the firm.
